What is Prescene?

Prescene is the AI for screenplays, with a professional screenplay editor built into the same Workspace. From one screenplay to a full series, it connects scripts, drafts, and episodes into one understanding of the story. Writing, formatting, autosave, checkpoints, imports, and exports are free. Paid AI usage powers analysis, the writing assistant, coverage, and workflows that create finance plans, production schedules, character breakdowns, and more.

Your first ten minutes

1. Create an account. The Screenplay Editor is free, no card required.
2. Choose how to begin: start a blank draft, import an existing screenplay as an editable draft, or, with a paid plan, upload a script to your Library for analysis.
3. For a draft, start writing immediately. Formatting, autosave, checkpoints, and exports are ready without a subscription.
4. For a Library upload, review the detected title, format, and destination, then confirm or change them before analysis begins.
5. Open the draft to write, or open the analyzed title to explore its summary, scenes, characters, assistant, Coverage, and workflows.

The Workspace

• Home: your recent titles, running work, and latest artifacts.
• Library: every film and series you have, with all their processed versions.
• Editor: your private drafts and checkpoints.
• Coverage: score tables, report history, and exports for Coverage runs.
• Workflows: repeatable processes that produce documents and tables, like Coverage and Character Breakdown.
• Artifacts: everything your workflows have produced, in one place.
• Agent: chat with the assistant about anything in your Library.
• Connectors: connect Google Drive and other tools.
