When your AI usage runs out, AI features pause until your month renews, you upgrade, or you add more AI usage. Prescene does not add automatic overage charges.
Downgrading deletes nothing.
Your Library, drafts, and artifacts stay yours. Readable and exportable on every plan. If you are over the new script limit, delete enough scripts to get within it or choose another plan.
Common questions
- What counts as a script?
- Each film revision or episode revision you add counts as one script. A film with 10 revisions uses 10 scripts. A 100-episode series uses 100. Editor drafts and checkpoints do not count.
- Can I pay annually?
- Yes. Every paid plan has an annual option priced at 10 months: 2 months free compared to paying monthly. Your AI usage still resets monthly, and everything else works the same. You can switch between monthly and annual billing any time from your plan settings.
- What happens when I downgrade or cancel?
- Nothing is deleted or automatically archived. If you are over the new script limit when the change takes effect, your Library and artifacts stay readable and exportable, but you cannot add more scripts until you make room or choose another plan. Editor drafts remain editable.
- I ran out of AI usage mid-month. What are my options?
- With an active subscription, buy more AI usage, use any additional AI usage already on your account, wait for renewal, or upgrade. Prescene does not add automatic overage charges.
- Does unused AI usage roll over?
- Unused monthly AI usage does not roll over. Referral and promotional AI usage follows the expiration shown when it is granted.
- Can I write without a subscription?
- Yes. Start a blank draft or import a script, then write, format, autosave, save checkpoints, and export without a subscription. AI usage and adding a script to your Library require Plus, Pro, or Max.
- Is my work private?
- Yes. Your scripts are private by default and are not used to train AI models. See the Privacy Policy for the limited cases in which authorized people or service providers may process your data.
